Reclaim Your Energy This Holiday Season

The holidays can be beautiful and exciting times. But more often than not, the shopping, parties, and extra family time leave us feeling drained physically and energetically. The months of November and December are often so packed with events and To-Do’s that it leaves us with little time to take care of our physical bodies, let alone our energetic body.
I have good news.
Taking care of your energetic body doesn’t mean that you have to sit in meditation for an hour every day, or get to a yoga class 5 days a week. In fact, you can care for your energetic system with just a few minutes of grounding each day.
Make this a part of your morning routine, or squeeze it in on your coffee break.
Before beginning: Find a quiet place that you can be for two minutes. Maybe that is in the bathroom with the door closed, or at the kitchen table while your coffee brews. See if you can build this into your daily routine wherever it fits. You might also want to set a timer on your phone. Having a timer set can keep you from checking the time every 30 seconds.
Bonus: Reconnect with this practice any time your find yourself feeling overwhelmed. Waiting in checkout lines can be a great time to connect with the ground beneath you and your breath.
After a busy day of running around, try taking a bath or shower to clear your aura. Other people’s energy can sometimes stick to our aura, so cleansing it before it settles in is important. If it’s not possible to bathe between one event and another, you can run a clear quartz crystal through your aura. Just make sure to rinse your crystal in running water before you use it again.
May this ritual support you through this busy season! If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below!
May all beings everywhere be happy and free ✨
